Is CBD Minnesota’s Hot New Holiday Gift?

It’s that time of year again! The stockings are hanging above the fireplace, the cookies aren’t quite stale, and a bearded, corpulent man is preparing to break into your home. But, let’s be honest, there’s one thing that’s really on our minds: peace on earth. Nahh, I’m just kidding. It’s presents.

Between smart speakers and overpriced stocking stuffers that will soon end up in bargain bins (looking at you, Pickle Rick phone stand), there are plenty of hot ticket gifts that would even make Tickle Me Elmo blush. Well, this year one surprising gift looks to be making its way under Minnesotan trees: CBD.

According to Minnesota local newspaper The Star Tribune, CBD-related products appear to be flying off the shelves this gift-giving season. From tinctures available in a local mall kiosk to infused soaps and shampoos at a nearby hemp store, the paper’s article details how CBD is primed to be the new holiday craze for the North Star State.

As there is no need for a medical green light in order to purchase CBD products in Minnesota, it makes sense that the substance has reached the level of popularity where it’s being included in local massage treatments and mall kiosks. Also, I’m just putting it out there that I deserve an immediate raise for including the phrase “green light” in an article about cannabis without going for the easy pun.

With CBD gifts in mind, there are plenty of great options to choose from. A gift guide by The Strategist posted earlier this year showcases everything from a CBD sleeping mask to specialized tinctures meant for your four-legged friends. Additionally, Cannabis & Tech Today’s upcoming winter edition showcases the Top 20 Cannabis gifts of the year. These include everything from Stratos gluten-free vegan tinctures and St. Bernie’s flavorful CBD gum to Stava’s infused Peace & Wellness Coffee.
