How to Make a Crazy Delicious Cannabis Cake

A cannabis cake is decadent and delicious for that ultimate dessert experience because it gives you the chance to eat your favorite cake infused with the power of cannabis. The following is a simple cannabis cake that you’ll surely enjoy. Check it out.

Which Cannabis Products Can be Used for Making a Cake?

There is nothing better than the feeling of indulging in a homemade cake while also experiencing the goodness of cannabis.

You can get creative and use cannabis products like cannabis-infused strawberry licorice in making a cake. Also a staple in cannabis treats and baked goodies is cannabutter. It’s almost always a component in cannabis-infused cakes. You can buy it at licensed retail shops or make it for yourself at home. Here’s a good recipe for it.

What is Cannabutter?

Cannabutter is a cannabis product, which is a regular butter infused with cannabis plant material. It is often added to cannabis edibles and is a replacement for the traditional butter added to the recipes.

The strength of the butter depends on the cannabis strength. For this reason alone, you need to plan accordingly for maximum enjoyment. For example, use and eat less if you have a low tolerance or if this will be your first time to eat edibles.

The finished product closely resembles the appearance of traditional butter except it might end up slightly green, indicating that the plant material has been melted, cooked, and whisked properly.

In terms of storage, you can freeze it in larger batches until a recipe calls for it. They can stay frozen for at least six months.

How Will Cannabis Ingredients Change the Taste of Cake?

Some sources say that cannabis can sacrifice the dessert experience if you add too much of it because it can be overpowering. For this reason, you need to follow recipe instructions closely to avoid ending up with a less-than-tasty cake.

When making a cake or chocolate chip cookies, you want that warm and sweet taste of butter or they lose their delicious taste. So, is there a way to make cake with cannabis products that tastes less like weed?

For a tip, you can use 1/3 infused butter for every 2/3 fresh butter used to disguise the taste of weed and bring out the delicious taste of cake. With it, you can come up with great-tasting baked treats that can go well with the flavor and aroma of weed.

Quick Recipe

In the following, you will learn how to make marijuana-infused chocolate cake. Let’s start.

Ingredients:

  •         ½ cup cannabutter
  •         2 eggs
  •         1 cup white sugar
  •         ½ cup brown sugar
  •         2 cups flour
  •         113 g chocolate
  •         2 tbsp. olive oil
  •         One packet yeast
  •         ½ tbsp. salt

Cannabis Cake Directions

  1.     Use a grinder to grind weed that you need. Make small pieces so that they mix with the ingredients well and prevent them from being noticeable.
  1.     Combine the crushed weed and butter in a pan. Stir every 15 minutes over low heat for two hours. The butter to produce from it is what you’re going to use in making the weed cake.
  1.     Add the flour and eggs in the bowl with the butter, and then slowly add the salt, yeast and melted chocolate.
  1.     Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F for about 10 minutes. Slowly pour the mixture into a pan brushed with butter or lined with baking paper to prevent the cake from sticking on the pan when you need to take the cake out.
  1.     Once done, you can put the pan into the oven and bake it for 45 minutes (up to one hour).

Check and test it after with a knife’s tip to see if it’s cooked.  You don’t have to turn the oven off, but make sure to wear mittens to avoid burning yourself.

It is done if the knife comes out clean and dry but not if dirty and wet. If it is, wait for another 10 minutes. Try this trick twice to find out if the cake is cooked or not.

That’s It! Enjoy Your Creation.

A Few Tips

Start with a small serving if it’s your first time. Eat only a small slice, and then wait for up to three hours to gauge the effects on your body. The effects of cannabis can vary from one person to another, depending on the amount of cannabis and type of weed.

If you’re feeling okay, you can have another serving, but do note that the effects can take two hours before they kick in and reach their peak. Slow down.

For this reason, you should wait and check how you’re feeling for at least two hours. Do not be impatient! Eating edibles isn’t the same as smoking cannabis.

Now you know how to make a delicious cannabis cake at home to enjoy alone or with friends. Make your cannabis cake today!
