Blues Brothers MJ Unpacked Exclusive Concert

Blues Brothers Play Exclusive Concert to Free Cannabis Prisoners

October in Las Vegas is a glorious time. The weather is mild, events are in full swing, and this year people are especially eager for entertainment.

This October, the Blues Brothers are bringing their lively, soulful sound to Mandalay Bay in support of the Last Prisoner Project (LPP).

The event is hosted by MJ Unpacked, an event connecting retailers to investors in an exclusive setting.

Only registered ticket holders will have access to the Blues Brothers’ live event.

“For me and I think many others, the Blues Brothers evoke the brash exuberance and fun and joy of our earliest experiences with cannabis,” said Steve DeAngelo, founder of LPP.

The non-profit organization is working to free the 40,000 cannabis prisoners incarcerated in America and bring drug policy change on a global level.

For this special benefit concert, Dan Aykroyd is back as Elwood Blues, joined by Jim Belushi as Zee Blues.

The duo have been jamming out together for decades and will be backed by The Sacred Hearts Band for this Mandalay Bay performance.

Attendees can expect to hear an array of classic Blues Brothers songs like “Soul Man” and “Sweet Home Chicago.”

Tickets can be purchased through MJ Unpacked registration for $150. There will be additional onsite donation options with all net proceeds benefiting LPP.

“As our event creates the opportunity for this high-impact executive level audience to gather, it’s both an honor and an obligation for us to support the hero work of the Last Prisoner Project,” said George Jage, CEO of Jage Media.

“It is a collective responsibility of everyone in our industry to reverse the injustices of the war on drugs.”

Attendance to MJ Unpacked is limited to brand executives holding at least a manager-level title, as well as accredited investors.

Ancillary companies have the opportunity to exhibit and the event is free for dispensary license holders and their management teams.

Taking place over two days, from October 21-22, MJ Unpacked enables networking as well as access to capital.

With national decriminalization on the horizon, this event is an opportunity to explore expansion possibilities and connect with other professionals pioneering the cannabis sector.
