First launched in 2020, CannaQuest is a unique scavenger hunt-meets-sales-and-marketing endeavor in Colorado. Adults 21 and over are encouraged to participate.

To begin, entrants must get their free entry “passports” full of quests, stickers, and other items. Passports are available at all 17 of Native Roots’ Colorado locations.

Participation stamps can be earned and cashed in for prizes and discounts. Challenges this year include:

  • Wearing Native Roots apparel
  • Completing a mood state quiz
  • Shopping on 4/20
  • Making specific product purchases

Incentivizing sales challenges, customers can immediately redeem special deals, including penny pre-rolls, eighths, half ounces, and gram concentrates, as well as BOGO deals and discounts on other store merchandise. Participants can also win prizes and discounts from over a dozen brands, including Cheeba Chews, Wana, Wyld, Pax, and many more.

“We have been working hard to make CannaQuest 2024 the biggest and best yet, and we have 18 brands who have joined us for this year’s race,” said Buck Dutton, VP of Marketing at Native Roots. Dutton noted that the expanded brand roster this year comes from participant feedback.

Representatives from Native Roots’ Speer Boulevard location in Denver tell Cannabis & Tech Today that early participation has been strong this year.

“We had some people lined up before the doors opened to get started,” said the representative. “It created a lot of excitement and an increase in traffic at this location.”

The first person to complete all 161 stamps will win a prize package worth over $3,100. Additional prizes include:
